Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping me out with the toilet installation. Everything went well from the toilets arriving on time at Ferguson to the installation, price, etc. I appreciate not having any “hassles” along the way & everything working out so well.

Today the crew installed a backflow prevention device at Eskaton Village in Grass Valley, CA. We worked with the City of Grass Valley and purchased the proper permit and started the job. Currently in Eskaton Village, some of the homes during the building process had backflow prevention devices that were installed, however, they are not to the City of Grass Valley’s current standards and will not pass inspection when sell your home. With the hot summer days upon us, we tend to crank up the sprinklers to avoid brown lawns and weeping plants. If your rental property is on city water (either NID, PCWA, or BVID) NOW is the time to check for water leaks or excessive water consumption.
One easy way to tell if you have a leak in your water pipes is to have your tenant watch the water meter when no water is being used. If the meter is turning, there’s a chance a water pipe could be leaking. This simple step will save either your tenant or yourself from having to pay a BIG unexpected water bill.

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in the plumbing trade, when you come across a root invasion in a sewer line like this it’s photo worthy, in fact it’s trophy worthy. The customer is up and running and their drains are running smooth again! We ran across this gem in Grass Valley, Ca. IF you have slow drains this could be your problem…don’t get behind on your drain maintenace. It’s a good idea if you notice a slow drain to contact a licensed plumber to see what the problem is.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of installing a brand new water heater in a very precarious spot…as noted in the “thank you” we managed to do it with a smile 🙂 Water heaters come in all shapes and sizes…this was definitley a round hole square peg type of situation. Fortunately, they received 13 years out of their previous water heater. If you are in need of a new water heater or just kicking tires in the Nevada and Placer County area give us a call…we’re happy to help!

Today we received a call from a customer who had a broken pressure regulator valve, this meant that the extreme water pressure in their home was making their pipes moan. The customer called to report his problem, I asked the customer if he knew how to shut off his water, he did, so I had the customer shut off his main water valve until we could get out there to take care of his plumbing issue. I dispatched Dave to take care of his plumbing problem. He changed out the broken valve and replaced it with a new one and they’re up and running again! It’s that easy! If you’re experiencing a fluctuation in water pressure, or noticing extreme water pressure don’t hesitate to call…it could be your pressure regulator (if you have one).
